Storyline
Amity Island is a tourist resort with large numbers of tourists coming here to swim. But the appearance of the great white shark changed all that. The accident began when a couple went swimming in the sea and the woman became the first victim. The mutilated bodies were a terrible sight. Local officials, however, are reluctant to close the site to investigate. They are afraid of hurting tourism revenue, so they call in biologist Brown (Richard Dreyfuss).Brown decided it was an unusually large white shark. His warning was not taken seriously by the authorities, and it only became more serious when more people died. A skilled local fisherman, a police officer and Brown are determined to kill the great white shark. A fierce battle begins. Who is the winner? And what will it cost to win this battle?
